Drake’s pockets are now going to be just a little bit lighter, after his concert in Dallas went over its scheduled time, leading to a fine for the Toronto MC.
According to TMZ, the artist got a late start to his concert at America Airlines Center Thursday night, causing his performance to go over its scheduled midnight close.
Time is definitely money as the arena fined him $6,500 for every 15 minutes he performed past midnight.
Drizzy wasn’t too concerned to have his pockets hit a little however as he even told the crowd that he was going over and money wasn’t a thing.
The rapper finally ended up closing his set at 12:35 a.m. which will total a $13K fine for the Hip Hop giant.
Drake’s stop in Dallas was part of his Summer Sixteen Tour and was also the site where he dissed current Hip-Hop foe Joe Budden by mocking “Pump, pump it up! F##k the ni##a!”
