A Trey Songz superfan is suing the singer after he allegedly smacked her phone into her face.
A Philadelphia Trigga lover purchased VIP tickets to meet him at a strip club called the Vanity Grand Cabaret. Apparently Songz was far removed from the ladies man persona he’s cultivated in the business. According to TMZ, the woman said that Songz was hostile toward his fans and disrespectful to club patrons throughout the entire night.
When the woman approached Songz outside the club to take a photo, she says that Songz attacked her. In the lawsuit, she claims that Songz smacked her phone into her face and broke her glasses.
She’s suing both Songz and the venue for $50,000. She says that VGC created a risky situation by creating the event because they knew Songz tended “toward violence and negative interaction with the public.”
Songz recently pleaded guilty to two counts disturbing the peace after he flew into a fit rage at a Detroit show. The charges came after his show was cut short by a venue who cut his mic. The star broke equipment onstage, threw debris around the venue, and eventually resisted arrest.
As part his guilty plea, the charges that came from him fighting Detroit Police who attempted to remove him were dropped. Trey got 18 months probation and was ordered to attend anger management classes.
