This year’s edition of Made In America might have spawned a new creative duo. Meek Mill and Tekashi 6ix9ine are said to have hit it off backstage during the festival curated by Jay-Z.
A source says they witnessed part of the encounter at the event that took place in Philly over Labor Day weekend.
According to this event attendee, the two rappers seemed enthusiastic about the possibility of a joint track.
Tekashi is fresh off the buzz from his collaboration with Meek’s ex-boo, Nicki Minaj. “FEFE” went platinum. 69 also gained some respect with his recent 50 Cent collaboration. He hopped on “Get The Strap” with new york natives, Uncle Murda, and Casanova 2.
Meek Mill surprised his fans with a summer release in July. Legends Of The Summer is a 4-track-long project that features other big names, including Jeremih, Swizz Beatz, Miguel and PnB Rock. The rapper has hopped back into a winning streak lately. Fans are rooting for him to remain on the right track.
