Oprah Winfrey Says Her Favorite Date Night Consists Of Cooking For Stedman Graham

Although we are decades past the overtly sexist idea that women belong in the kitchen, you would be hard-pressed to find a man that doesn’t thoroughly enjoy having a meal prepared for him by the hands of the divine feminine. I swear I can taste the minimum wage fueled malcontent and hate in my fast food french fries. There is just nothing like a homecooked meal made by someone who finds joy in feeding you. Apparently, that is a fact that Oprah also lives by, as she made clear when answering fans’ questions on Instagram.

Oprah initiated an event called “Ask a Staffer Q&A ” on O The Oprah Magazine‘s Instagram where answered several questions including whether she’ll be attending the latest Jay-Z and Beyonce tour, and also what constitutes for a date night for her and longtime partner Stedman Graham. “Well, I am a really good cook. And the wonderful thing about Stedman is in all the years that I’ve been cooking for him, no matter what it is, even if it’s a piece of toast like the other day I made an English muffin and he’s like, ‘Where did you get this English muffin?’ and I’m like, ‘It’s an English muffin,'” Oprah revealed. “He is delighted with anything that I make, so my favorite date night is to make him black-eyed peas and cornbread as a surprise for dinner and then honey, hush. That’s all you need!”
