Tekashi 6ix9ine & Nicki Minaj's "Fefe" Tops Billboard's Streaming Songs Chart

There are a few things synonymous with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Trolling is the first thing that people think of when they hear his name but boasting about his Billboard accomplishments is a close second. The rapper’s single “FEFE” was his eighth consecutive single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. While he’s aiming for 9 for 9 tomorrow with the release of “Bebe.” Ahead of that, the rapper reached another milestone in his Billboard career.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, Murda Beatz and Nicki Minaj‘s “FEFE” holds the number one spot on Billboard’s On-Demand Streaming Songs charts. This marks the first number one single on the chart for both 6ix9ine and Murda Beatz and a second for Nicki Minaj. The song previously marked 6ix9ine’s first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 after it debuted at number three on the chart. It’s maintained its position in the top 10 since then and currently sits at number 5. For Murda Beatz, this marks his first number one single billed on the chart as an artist. He previously held the spot with his production credit on Drake‘s chart-topping single, “Nice For What.” Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” previously held the top position on the chart.

Aside from his recent chart accomplishment, the rapper will be performing this weekend at Jay-Z’s Made In America Fest in Philadelphia. While this is one of the major festival’s he’s been invited to perform at this year, his presence has reportedly caused the festival to increase the security during his set. Maybe we’ll see Nicki Minaj bring him out to perform their hit song for the first time ever.
