Tyrese Denies Child Abuse Allegations: ‘I Just Simply Wanna Co-Parent’ [PHOTO]

Tyrese is going through some major child custody drama. According to Gossip Cop, the actor-singer has been ordered to stay away from his 10-year-old daughter, Shayla, after her mother filed a temporary restraining order against him.

Tyrese’s ex-wife, Norma Gibson, is accusing the singer abusing their daughter, whom they share custody. According to Norma’s complaint, the dispute is over a piggy bank in which Tyrese allegedly “went into a rage, pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.” It’s also alleged that Shayla was begging for mercy while Tyrese continuously beat her and she couldn’t sit afterward “due to the pain she was experiencing.”

Norma also fears that Tyrese might kidnap their child and move to Dubai where he spends a lot time there.

A judge has issued a temporary stay-away order against Tyrese, which bars him from seeing and contacting his daughter or his ex-wife until their next court hearing, which is scheduled for Oct. 2.

On Wednesday (Sept. 13), Tyrese went on his Instagram page to deny the allegations that he’s abusing his daughter. The lengthy statement reads in part:
