Tyrese is already an accomplished actor and singer but the Fast and The Furious star now wants to try his hand in hip-hop. On Tuesday (Oct. 17), the actor posted a photo on Instagram him, JAY-Z and Mark Pitts, and revealed he would be releasing a rap album.

In his post, Tyrese wrote, “Asked sic] anybody I tagged about this album…… This new album is inspired by Jay-Z. My motto is #IDentityTheftDoubleAlbum is Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and Sonically Dre’s Ears…… I know your first instincts is to say GTFOH put me in the ( Singer and Actor box and throw away the key )…but you will see folks very very soon that this rap album is far from play play……..”

Tyrese ended his post by saying the upcoming album will change hip-hop and said he was doing it for the culture. “#LaughNowDickRideLater,” he added.

In another post, the actor posted a snippet a song, which appears to be a reference track.

“BlackTy feat Future this is an early reference #Ghostwriter when will I drop – no one knows,” he wrote.
