1017 ALYX 9SM SS24 Envisions Otherworldly Workwear

A staple of Milan Fashion Week, 1017 ALYX 9SM has shared its latest runway presentation for Spring/Summer 2024. Founder Matthew M Williams continues to elaborate upon the label’s success while remaining the creative director of Givenchy – which is scheduled to showcase its men’s collection for SS24 on June 22 in Paris.

For its latest chapter, 1017 ALYX 9SM draws a fresh approach to the prevailing workwear trend — integrating cargo pockets on lapel jackets and topcoats. Matching this ultramodern aesthetic, the brand’s “A” motif lands across several pieces with a finish that is reminiscent of uniforms found in sci-fi films.

Elsewhere, Williams has paired billowing outerwear with shorts that range from less than fingertip length to various Capri cuts. Per usual, hardware stands out strongly with 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Rollercoaster Belt making a return, while also being worked directly into garments themselves as well. Supporting each look, slightly-elevated boots stand tall, donning finishes that range from studded heels to leopard prints.
