Shakira’s Return to The Voice

Colombian superstar Shakira joined past and present coaches on The Voice for an epic performance of Pete Townshend’s “Let My Love Open the Door.” Alongside CeeLo Green, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, Bebe Rexha, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, the group number was part of The Voice‘s season 18 finale where fellow Colombian Karol G and the Jonas Brothers performed their new collab “X.”

Residente’s Hidden Heart 

A slowed-down version of Residente‘s new single “Antes Que El Mundo Se Acabe” reveals a heart-shaped figure that was formed by someone’s string of hair. Residente slowed down the video frame-by-frame to show his fans on social media the hidden heart. “When beautiful things happen, they have no explanation,” he wrote.

Reik Covers Ricky Martin’s “Tiburones”

The Mexican trio recorded their own version of Ricky Martin‘s hit song “Tiburones.” The cover was recorded in the middle of the pandemic with the three members recording from different parts of the world. Martin’s “Tiburones,” powerful song that promotes peace, love, unity and acceptance, was released back in January.

A Star-Studded Version of “Color Esperanza” 

Joining forces in the fight against COVID-19, Sony Music Latin and Global Citizen will release a new version of Diego Torres’ timeless hit “Color Esperanza” to benefit the Pan American Health Organization’s (PAHO) response to the pandemic. Released in 2001 and co-written by Cachorro López, Coti Sorokin, and Torres, “Color Esperanza” has become an inspirational anthem about unity, peace, and hope.

Victor Manuelle’s 25/7 Goes Gold

The Puerto Rican salsa singer took to social media to share with his fans that his 25/7 album has been certified gold in the United States. The record, released under Sony Music Latin nearly two years ago, includes collabs with Bad Bunny, Farruko, Juan Luis Guerra, among others. On the Billboard charts, Victor Manuelle collected his 12th No. 1 on the Tropical Albums chart after 25/7 debuted in the penthouse of the April 7-dated list.

“Thanks to my fans for the constant support,” he posted on Instagram.
