6ix9ine Punched During Miami Club Appearance

6ix9ine found out that he’s still public enemy number one.

The rapper was attacked during an appearance at a Miami nightclub on Thursday morning (April 28), taking a punch to the back of the head as he exited Pilo’s Tacos Tequilla Garden around 2 a.m. with his crew.

In video footage, obtained by TMZ, security clears the way for Tekashi and his team. But one clubgoer clearly wasn’t a fan of the rainbow-haired rapper and swung at him as he walked by, hitting Tekashi in the back of the head. The man who threw the punch then allegedly took off.

In a statement to TMZ, Tekashi confirmed that an altercation occurred. “He scuffed my shoulder by my neck. He also connected with the shoulder of my security guard. I didn’t know this guy. There was no prior dispute,” he said.

Tekashi was seemingly unfazed by the attack and was seen signing autographs and taking photos with fans outside the club after the incident.

Earlier in the evening, 6ix9ine got on the mic and performed his new single “GINÉ” from behind the DJ booth. He also apologized for missing his last appearance at the club.

6ix9ine has been testing the waters since he was released from home confinement in August 2020 after taking a plea deal in his racketeering case where he snitched on members of his former gang. He has also remained active on social media, calling out Fivio Foreign and even his “TROLLZ” collaborator Nicki Minaj.
