One gig into their hotly hyped comeback, My Chemical Romance have not yet announced plans to return to their home state of New Jersey. But another veteran of the 2000s pop-punk boom made sure local fans got to hear MCR's breakthrough single on Sunday night.
All Time Low launched into a faithful cover of "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" at Sayreville, New Jersey's Starland Ballroom in between tracks from their own 2009 album Nothing Personal. It was the third of three shows in ATL's mini-residency at the Jersey theater, but the first time they broke out the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge anthem.
As Alternative Press points out, a couple of fans caught the big moment on video. Check out their clips below.

While All Time Low never disbanded like My Chem, frontman Alex Gaskarth and company have also indulged in some nostalgia lately; the Dec. 29 gig was one of a string of special shows marking the 10th anniversary of Nothing Personal, which they've been playing in its entirety.
My Chemical Romance rocked their first comeback concert Dec. 20 in Los Angeles and have so far announced a handful of international dates for 2020. While many expect additional U.S. shows, tributes like All Time Low's will have to do for now.
