Aventura gave fans the ultimate Christmas gift when in early December they unveiled their 2020 U.S. tour dates — their first in over 10 years.
Coined as the “Inmortal” (immortal) tour, the eight-date gig will kick off Feb. 6 in Los Angeles, making stops in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Miami, before wrapping March 16 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The tour, produced by Live Nation, is named after the former group’s reunion single “Inmortal.” The bachata track that keeps true to Aventura’s romantic essence landed No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay year-end charts in 2019.
In the early 2000s, Aventura, composed by Romeo Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos and Max Agende Santos, single-handedly revolutionized the bachata genre, bringing to life a subgenre known as Urban Bachata.
