During a press conference in Miami on Thursday (Jan. 30), Jennifer Lopez and Shakira revealed that they will honor Kobe Bryant during the Pepsi Super Bowl LIV halftime show on Sunday at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
"We'll all be remembering Kobe on Sunday and celebrating life and diversity in this country," Shakira said at the conference. "I'm sure he'd be very proud to see the message we are trying to convey onstage that day."
J.Lo added that it will be a "heartfelt" moment when they pay tribute to the former Lakers basketball player, who died in a helicopter crash this past Sunday along with his daughter Gianna and seven others.
The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday from Miami.
