Daddy Yankee and Sech officially released, “Definitivamente” (Definitely) El Cartel Records on Friday (Jan. 31) and it was well worth the wait.
Written by both artists, the song speaks for all the men who want to break up with their girlfriend because they've noticed at the end the relationship that it's just not worth the drama. The mid-tempo urban track was produced by NeKxum and Ovy and mixed by Francisco Saldaña (Luny).
“I dreamed about recording with him, and I thank God for the opportunity,” says Sech, who is confirmed to participate at Billboard’s Latinfest+, in a press statement.
The official video for “Definitivamente,” directed by Marlon Peña and filmed in Miami, combines the reality of dancing at a gas station with some high-technology and animation giving that creates a screen full of Yankees surrounded by fire and Sech singing next to a projection of himself on a TV.
“Working with Sech was very spontaneous, organic," added Yankee.
