After much speculation, Banda MS and Snoop Dogg are officially teaming up for their first-ever joint concert, Billboard can confirm.
The announcement was made Tuesday (Feb. 18) revealing that the concert is called “Dos Culturas, Una Union” (two cultures, one union) and will take place Saturday, July 11, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
The concert promises to bring the best of both worlds, Regional Mexican and Hip-Hop. “Each of these artists will present their show and sing their biggest hits,” states an official press release. “Consequently, the public will have the opportunity to see two shows and two totally different musical styles on the same stage.”
On social media, Snoop Dogg has shared his love and admiration for Regional Mexican music far too many times, vibing to music from artists such as Jenni Rivera, Bukanas de Culiacan and Banda MS, to name a few.
Banda MS is a three-time finalist at the 2020 Billboard Latin American Music Awards. The awards show will air live April 23 on Telemundo, following the three-day event and panel series LatinFest+ presented by Billboard and Telemundo in Las Vegas.
