Maluma Postpones Milan Show Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Maluma has postponed his upcoming concert in Milan as cases of coronavirus continue to increase in Italy.

The March 7 show has now been rescheduled to March 31, Billboard has learned. No other tour dates have been affected by the spread of the virus.

The Colombian superstar’s 2020 11:11 World Tour kicked off in Dubai last month.

With more than 1,600 coronavirus cases confirmed in Italy, the European country has the most cases outside of Asia, according to Italy’s Civil Protection Authority.

Major airlines like Delta and American Airlines announced the suspension or halt of its U.S. flights to Milan. Delta announced it will resume flights May 1. American temporarily halted its flights until April 25, after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention advised against all non-essential travel to Italy.

Other artists like Avril Lavigne, Khalid and English singer Mabel have postponed or canceled tour stops in Asia and/or Europe due to the outbreak with coronavirus cases now reported in more than 40 countries and more than 90,000 cases reported worldwide.
