"Trump must be beaten in November," the music icon wrote on Wednesday morning (March 11).
Barbra Streisand watched the results of Tuesday night’s (March 10) second Super Tuesday round of democratic primaries and weighed in on her choice for president in November. “I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Biden for President,” Streisand tweeted early Wednesday morning (March 11) after Biden swept the Michigan, Idaho, Mississippi and Missouri contests, putting the former Vice President well ahead of Sen. Bernie Sanders in the race to see who will face off against Pres. Trump.
“Trump must be beaten in November before he does more damage to our democracy, environment, health, safety and standing in the world,” Streisand added.
Biden has racked up a number of major endorsements over the past month as he’s emerged as the front-runner, including nods from Cher, Chely Wright, Alec Baldwin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Alyssa Milano and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin. Check out Streisand’s tweet below.
