Zac Brown dipped his toes into the dance world with “Dream Sellin’,” off his debut solo album, The Controversy. On Friday (March 27), he unveiled an emotive music video for the Poo Bear and Sasha Sirota collaboration.
The Alex Chapman-directed clip sees the trio in individual shots, belting the meaningful lyrics in a dark, cinematic space, before the drop takes the viewer through gorgeous mountain scenery.
“Dream Sellin’ is when someone sells a reality that’s less than real. This song is a reminder to everyone; don’t let people dreamsell you and don’t DS yourself,” said Brown of the tune in a press statement. “Especially now, in this time of uncertainty, don’t let misinformation get the best of you. Look out for yourself and your loved ones.”
The Controversy, which is set to re-release later this spring on all major streaming services, was created to celebrate musical diversity, as the country crooner challenges listeners to explore new genres.
