Grimes took to social media on Wednesday (April 15) to show off her growing baby bump with a cheeky selfie.
“Chubby fairy,” the mom-to-be captioned the Instagram post along with a random assortment of strawberry, butterfly and hedgehog emojis. Wearing a black-and-white striped long-sleeve shirt, the photo captures the singer posing in front of a pair of mirrors.
Grimes first announced she was expecting her first child back in January with a much more revealing, topless selfie on Instagram. (She later posted an edited version of the snap when the original post was taken down by the social platform.) The indie pop star has been linked to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk — whom she confirmed in a Rolling Stone profile last month is the father of her child — since 2018.
The singer’s most recent album, Miss Anthropocene, was released in February following more than a year-long rollout of singles including “We Appreciate Power,” “My Name is Dark” and “Delete Forever.”
