A pandemic is not going to stop the class of 2020 from celebrating graduation.
That’s why Her Campus, a media brand for college women, hosted “I’m Still Graduating,” on Friday (May 15), bringing together graduates and all-star celebrities to commemorate the educational achievements.
Liam Payne serenaded graduates during the livestream (which beats the typical commencement speaker, if you ask me) by performing his recent Alesso collab, “Midnight.”
Before his performance, the singer offered some words of advice. “While I was in One Direction, I felt like the world ran away from me a little bit and wasn’t really realizing what was going on in that moment,” he explained, before reminding young people to stay present by remembering, “You are, without realizing, right in your life story every single day.”
“As long as you remember that and take caution in all your choices, that will make you take implied risks and better yourself,” he concluded.
