Show of hands out there for anyone who would have no problem with their boyfriend/husband doing their makeup? Nobody? Really? Well, after playing some seriously competitive Jenga, applying skin-clarifying masks, regretting pre-marital sex and going for a rowboat ride to get into their feelings, just about the only thing Justin and Hailey Bieber haven’t done yet is each other’s makeup.
Which means you’re in luck, because on episode seven of The Biebers on Watch series that is exactly what happens, only Hailey is the one offering to let JB try his hand at face painting. To be fair, he’s a performer (with self-described adult onset acne), so he probably knows his way around a solid foundation already. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a bit nervous about picking up a contouring brush for the first time.
“I have no idea how to do this. I have no idea where to start,” Justin says, guessing that foundation is the right place to start. “I want you to actually look good, I’m not trying to make you look like a clown,” he promises Hailey, realizing that he’s had makeup applied on his own face before but didn’t really pay attention.
It’s actually very sweet, with Justin making sure to be gentle as they gaze into each other’s eyes while Hailey praises his mascara skills. Well, until he smears it all over the place and then tries to cover his tracks by inventing a makeup song while applying some foundation to her eyebrows.
“I’m accepting what’s happening,” Hailey promises, impressed that her hubby knows what a “T-Zone” is. “It’s actually really good. It’s not bad at all… Justin’s coming for every makeup artist,” she jokes at the end.
