Just a week after her former “Telephone” co-star Beyoncé became the second artist to notch a No. 1 single on the Hot 100 in the ’00s, ’10s and ’20s, Lady Gaga this week became the third.
She debuted atop the chart with “Rain on Me,” her collab with fellow megastar Ariana Grande, and the second single released from Chromatica, her much-anticipated new album that debuted last Friday (May 29). It’s Gaga’s fifth No. 1 overall, following Bradley Cooper duet “Shallow” reaching the chart’s apex last year, and dating back to 2009, when she hit the top spot with her first two The Fame singles, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.”
To commemorate Gaga’s fantastic career on the Billboard charts, we’ve prepared a 20-question quiz testing your knowledge of all things Mother Monster, from her early days as an award show provocateur to her current run as queen of the future-disco dancefloor. Test your knowledge below — remember, 60% needed for a passing grade — and let’s hope you’re on the right track, baby, with those answers.
