Kanye West Thanks Travis Scott for Giving Him Address of Daughter’s Birthday Party

Kanye West almost missed out on his daughter Chicago’s birthday party.

While driving around Los Angeles on Saturday (Jan. 15), the rapper went on Instagram Live to vent that he wasn’t given the address of the location where the Kardashian-Jenner family was hosting his youngest daughter’s 4th birthday.

“I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was. There’s nothing legal to saying this is the kind of games that’s being played,” said Ye.

He said that it’s taken a toll on his mental health. “This the kind of thing that’s affected my health for the longest and I’m just not playing. I’m taking control of my narrative this year. I’m being the best father, the Ye version of a father, and I’m not finna let this happen.”

He admitted that he didn’t call Kim to get the address, but he did try to find out through other family members including Tristan Thompson. “Don’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now and that’s gonna imprint in her mind that I wasn’t there for her,” said Ye, who said he moved his recording schedule so he could be there for his kids.

Added Ye, “Baby mamas be playing games, the grandmamas be playing games, and as ya’ll know, they ain’t finna play with me.”

However, the story has a happy ending as Ye eventually made it to the party thanks to Travis Scott. “Shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter,” he said.

Ye was all smiles as he reflected on reuniting with the Kardashian-Jenner family including Kris and Kylie. “Everyone just had a great time and I’m just really happy that I could be there for my children,” he continued. “My life centers around my children and I just had a great time today.”

Sources close to Kim claim that she never intended to exclude him from the party. Kim and Kanye reportedly discussed having two parties for Chicago, and Kanye was supposed to throw the second one when he picked her up.

“Kim was shocked that he went on live accusing her when it was his idea to begin with to have two separate parties,” a source tells Page Six. “She was going to have hers early in the day and he was throwing Chi her own separate party. No one was trying to stop him from coming.”

This comes after Ye claimed that Kim’s security would not let him inside the house to see their kids because Pete Davidson was inside, something which Kim has denied. He also threatened to “beat up” Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, on his “Eazy” collaboration with The Game.
