British Rapper Aitch Drops New Single “Baby”

The 22-year old British sensation Aitch drops a melodic rap single called, “Baby,” accompanied by a spectacular music video on YouTube.

Aitch has undertaken a new genre with his latest single, a throwback to melodic 2000’s Hip-Hop songs, featuring Ashanti. The song has a catchy chorus with the female vocal reminding listeners of early 2000’s songs, when Ashanti was a reoccurring feature to artists such as Fat Joe and Nelly. While maintaining his authentic British rapping rhythms, the Manchester-based artist introduces a new realm of his talents by producing a more mellow-like rap song that’s perfect for a summer listen.

The music video, directed by Zain Alexander Shammas, perfectly fits the song, which includes beautiful Malibu landscape, amazing film-like quality and the British comedian/journalist, Amelia Dimoldenberg, who is the rapper’s girlfriend.

With his breakthrough songs like “Straight Rhymez” and “Rain,” Aitch was able to express his urban background and skills as an up-and-coming artist. His singles have amassed millions of views on YouTube and Spotify. After getting noticed by a fellow British rapper Stormzy, Aitch was quickly recognized as a prominent star in the making. You can listen to his catchy song “Baby” on Spotify and watch his music video on YouTube, which already has more than 3 million views.
