Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060 Receives an Official Release Date

After weeks’ worth of teasers, New Balance and Bricks & Wood have shared the official release date for their second collaboration: the Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060 “Nothing Changed But the Address.” The shoe, which follows the two brands’ debut collaboration in 2021, will first release at a Bricks & Woods pop-up in Paris on January 19 before receiving a global release on January 30.

Earlier this week, Bricks & Woods owner and co-founder Kacey Lynch took to Instagram to reveal the design’s personal inspiration: his grandmother’s house. Under its fitting moniker, “Nothing Changed But the Address,” the shoe intends to remind its wearer of where they came from. “Please remember that no matter how far you go, it’s just a change of address. Nothing about you changes,” Lynch said in a statement.

In terms of its design, the silhouette lets a cool-grey mesh and premium suede mingle across its upper construction, while unique fuzzy laces snake up its center. Molded midsoles add a certain flair with bright green pods and cream styling. In a touching tribute, the green tones on the NB 9060’s sole reference the lawn outside of Lynch’s childhood home, pictured above.

The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060 will launch exclusively at PaperBoy in Paris on January 19 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT, during a public event. The collaborative silhouette will then become available in the U.S. on Bricks & Wood’s website and during pop-up events in New York City and Los Angeles on January 23 and 28, respectively. Finally, the NB 9060 will launch globally on New Balance’s website on January 30.
