For the second part of their New York City-inspired capsule, PUMA and Rhuigi Villaseñor centers the collection around the American varsity aesthetic.

Taking to the pizza parlors of New York City, a major staple in the metropolitan, the capsule collection focuses on two colorways, varsity green and beige throughout the second part of the collaboration. The collection pays homage to Rhuigi’s home of Los Angeles, while also celebrating the cultural melting pot that is New York City. Inspired by the diversity and cultural richness of NYC’s five boroughs, Rhuigi presents his vision with PUMA.

The second part of the collaboration is highlighted with a varsity jacket, double-layered hoodie and an updated rendition of the PUMA Slipstream. The “New York Worldwide” graphics are prominently highlighted on each piece, paying homage to the music, style, and culture of the Big Apple. Pieces are co-branded with custom “P & R” logos, representing PUMA and Rhuigi. The campaign was shot with the idea of bringing the staple New York City pizza experience to fans and takes place at family-owned institution Lenny’s Pizza.

The latest PUMA x Rhuigi capsule will be available starting February 18 online at PUMA.
