Malbon Golf and adidas Golf are brands that have followed different trajectories, the former being a relative newcomer to the space which appeals to lifestyle, while the latter a global powerhouse in the golf world which hangs it hat on performance. But the two labels have now crossed paths once again, as Malbon has provided its signature spin on a selection of products from adidas’s recent Ultimate365 TOUR collection, considered to be Three Stripes’ premier golf apparel offering.
While the first collaboration centered around the casual and versatile adicross line, this one focuses on performance-led items that will be seen all year long on the PGA and LPGA Tours, so it’s fitting that adidas athlete Brandon Wu is front and center in the campaign.
The first of the highlights is the PRIMEKNIT Golf Polo which is a fully fashioned piece with stretch and breathability. The polo features contrast tipping at the collar, stripes down the side and each brand’s respective logos on the left and right chest. Next up is the Textured Jacquard polo with a monochromatic camouflage effect created via its textured knit. This polo arrives with a buckets logo on the left chest in four colorway options. Last up is the Ripstop 1/4-Zip Hoodie which provides golfers quick drying performance when moisture presents a challenge. Hidden details include a concealed zipper and adjustable hem.
The full collection drops on Malbon Golf’s website today, February 28 at 10:30AM PST via early access for Buckets Club members, and then to the public a half hour later at 11AM PST.
