Tyler, The Creator, who on his last album claimed that he’s “biggest out the city after Kenny, that’s a fact” (referring to Kendrick) is making those big moves. One would have thought we’d have to wait a year or maybe a couple of years to listen to a new Tyler project, but it turns out you just have to wait until July 21st.
The new album, like all of Tyler’s meticulously planned projects will usher in a new era of the rapper’s persona. We saw this with CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, IGOR and CHROMAKOPIA, where you can hear a complete shift in sonic paired with a strong visual identity paired to each of his eras.
This one seems to be no different. The artwork gives us an insight into the new avatar and it’s just enough to pique your curiosity. After all, the teaser artwork is essentially a shot of someone in a hazmat suit of sorts, holding a clear pressed vinyl of Tyler’s new work (which might be the actual cover).

For the longest time, audiences thought that Tyler was going to drop the ‘Sticky’ music video on July 21st, as that’s the date he’s been hyping up on social media. But aside from a 3-day head start on date announcement for what seemed to be a music video, the project had no rollout — which is very unlike him. So, what does he have cooking?
