EBK Jaaybo Pleads Guilty to Federal Gun and Drug Charges

Stockton rapper EBK Jaaybo has entered a guilty plea to federal charges involving a machine gun and drug distribution following a 2025 arrest in Arkansas.

Stockton, Calif. rapper EBK Jaaybo, born Jaymani Gorman, has officially entered a guilty plea to federal charges stemming from his 2025 arrest in Arkansas. The legal resolution, which took place on Thursday, June 4, marks a significant turning point in the artist’s ongoing legal battle.

According to court records, Jaaybo pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a machine gun and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. His codefendant, Xavier “Baby Maxx” Jones, also entered a guilty plea to the same charges.

The arrest occurred last May during a traffic stop in Arkansas, where law enforcement officials reportedly discovered an illegally modified Glock pistol, approximately five ounces of marijuana, and $8,534 in cash. Initially, the rapper faced a broader range of charges, including possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a machine gun in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime; however, these additional counts were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Legal Developments and Forensic Evidence

The case gained further complexity when investigators conducted forensic testing on the seized firearm. Authorities discovered that the weapon had been utilized two months prior in a nonfatal shooting involving Bay Area rapper Jarico Anderson, professionally known as DreamllifeRizzy. Reports from the Mercury News indicate that Anderson, who is allegedly affiliated with the San Francisco-based Double Rock gang, had been involved in a public rap feud with Jaaybo, even releasing a track titled “EBK Killer” following the incident. That specific case remains ongoing.

EBK Jaaybo is currently awaiting sentencing, with the gun charge carrying a potential penalty of up to 10 years in federal prison. XXL has reached out to the rapper’s legal counsel for further comment.
