The gold carpet at the 2026 BET Awards served as a definitive showcase of style, bringing together the biggest names in entertainment for a night of celebration. Among the hip-hop elite in attendance were stars such as Baby Keem, Latto, and Doechii, alongside rising talents like 2026 XXL Freshmen Miles Minnick and Trap Dickey. The 2026 BET Awards red carpet proved that hip-hop fashion continues to set the standard for cultural influence.
On Sunday, June 28, the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles hosted the annual ceremony, with comedian Druski taking on hosting duties. The evening was dedicated to honoring Black excellence, featuring powerful tributes to industry icons Ms. Lauryn Hill and Teyana Taylor.
Standout Style Moments
Doechii, who took home the BET Her Award for her collaboration with SZA, made a striking impression by channeling the early 2000s. She graced the carpet in a deep brown crocheted dress sourced from Dsquared2’s Spring 2006 collection, perfectly blending vintage aesthetics with modern flair. Meanwhile, Miles Minnick leaned into the elegance of the Harlem Renaissance, opting for a dark striped longline suit paired with a classic black beret. His fellow freshman, Trap Dickey, offered a more relaxed approach, styling a leather jacket over a button-up shirt with a bowtie and dark trousers.
Latto made a triumphant return to the public eye, marking one of her first appearances since giving birth last month. She commanded attention in a black sheer corset gown by Lily Phellera. The T.I. family also made a notable appearance, with the veteran rapper arriving alongside his sons, King and Domani. While Tip opted for a sharp gray suit, his sons showcased their individual styles, with Domani sporting a Canadian tuxedo and King opting for a casual leather-pant ensemble.
Rounding out the notable appearances, Baby Keem kept his look polished with a tailored suit and a vibrant yellow tie before taking the stage for his performance.
