Drake Rumored to Be Coachella 2027’s Secret Headliner

Reports suggest that Drake may be returning to the desert as a headliner for the 2027 Coachella Music & Arts Festival.

Global superstar Drake is currently at the center of festival speculation, with reports suggesting he is a top contender to headline the 2027 Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California. As fans eagerly await the next iteration of the iconic desert event, the possibility of the OVO Sound leader taking the main stage has become a major topic of conversation.

According to a report from Hits Daily Double‘s “Hits List” published on Friday, October 2, the multi-platinum artist is “said to be in the Coachella discussion” for the upcoming year. This potential booking would mark a significant return for the rapper, who previously headlined the festival in 2015 and made a memorable surprise appearance during Future’s set in 2017.

While official confirmation remains pending, XXL has reached out to the artist’s management team for comment regarding the rumors. The speculation arrives at a busy time for the 6 God, who has already committed to a major tour in 2027 to support his recent trifecta of albums: Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, all of which were released earlier this year.

Reflecting on his upcoming plans during a September interview with Etalk Canada, the artist hinted at a massive year ahead. “Obviously, tour is coming, and other things on the horizon,” he stated. “Of course, we’ll be out, you know, 2027 to see everybody again across the world.”

In addition to his touring commitments, the artist continues to expand his creative output. He recently dropped an expanded edition of Habibti (FOMO), which includes four new tracks featured in his short film, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO). The project features collaborations with Don Toliver, Yebba, and a remix of Ella Langley’s country hit “Choosin’ Texas,” further showcasing his versatility and continued dominance in the music industry.
