Rick Ross is breathing a sigh of relief following a significant legal victory. The acclaimed rapper has successfully navigated a challenging period after felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery charges were officially dropped. These legal hurdles stemmed from an incident that occurred this past August at the rapper’s Miami residence, involving allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick.
In a candid video shared across his social media platforms, Rick Ross appeared in high spirits, celebrating the news with a bottle of alcohol in hand while taking a moment to publicly acknowledge the pivotal role his legal team played in securing this outcome. The rapper was quick to credit his defense attorneys for their diligence and strategic approach to the case.

During his address, Rick Ross specifically highlighted the contributions of Steve Sadow, whom he lauded as the “best defence attorney in the game.” Expressing deep appreciation for Sadow’s commitment to the truth, the rapper noted, “My lead attorney, Steve Sadow, I want to thank you for being who you are, what you are, and always bringing the truth to light.”
The rapper also extended his gratitude to Bradley Horenstein, a key member of his legal counsel who was instrumental in the case’s resolution. “This is for Bradley Horenstein, a major part of my legal team… He had his boots on the ground making things happen, connecting all the dots,” Ross added.
While the most serious felony charges have been dismissed, the legal process is not entirely concluded. Rick Ross currently faces a remaining domestic violence misdemeanor charge, to which he has entered a plea of “not guilty.” As he moves forward, the rapper appears focused on putting this chapter behind him with the support of his legal representatives.
