The legal action stems from a complaint filed by 50 Cent last month, in which he seeks a permanent injunction to prevent Kemp from harassing or cyberstalking his 14-year-old son, Sire Jackson. During the virtual session, which was captured in a video that surfaced on TMZ, the rapper expressed to the judge that he would have been willing to drop the complaint had the public disparagement of him and his son ceased. Ultimately, the judge granted 50 Cent an additional 30 to 45 days to determine whether he wishes to continue pursuing the protective order.
Despite her absence from the courtroom, Tia Kemp addressed the situation on her TikTok account. In a candid video, she dismissed the legal proceedings, questioning the necessity of 50 Cent’s virtual appearance and characterizing his actions as a waste of the court’s time. This cyberstalking case is just one facet of the legal friction between the parties. 50 Cent’s legal team also filed a $6 million federal lawsuit against Kemp in California on Oct. 26. The conflict reportedly ignited in October when 50 Cent criticized Kemp and Rick Ross’ son on social media following an incident involving an alleged assault. In retaliation, Kemp began targeting 50 Cent’s son, leading to the current legal escalation.
