After introducing two new 550s and a mid-top 650 in collaboration with New Balance, Aimé Leon Dore now reconnects with Timberland for three new colorways of the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoes. ALD first worked with Timberland on a pair of 7-eye lug boots in the winter of 2018 and later introduced the first colorways of the 3-Eye Classic Lug in 2021.
The chunky 3-Eye boots have an extensive heritage stretching back to 1978 when they were introduced as the 3-Eye Lug Handsewn. Each pair features matte full-grain leather uppers with lace details along the side and contrast stitching throughout. Below are thick rubber lug soles taken from Timberland’s Original Boot which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Look for the pairs to release in “Grape Leaf”, “Sleek White,” and ” Black” colorways on May 19 via ALD’s website, flagship stores, and select shops globally for £190 GBP (approximately $240 USD).
