Jordan Brand is taking its mandate of sustainability to brand new heights.
Sneaker companies like Jordan Brand have been preaching about sustainability for quite some time now. Of course, we live in a society that has proven itself to be quite wasteful, and now, big companies are trying to change that. For instance, . Jordan Brand seems to be taking a cue from as they are rumored to be dropping a sustainable sneaker of their own.
According to @zsneakerheadz, Jumpman is getting set to drop the 1 High Zoom that is made out of recycled materials. As you can see from the detailed images below, the shoe has a grey and black upper with some paint speckles on the midsole and outsole. These highlights lend themself well to the whole DIY aesthetic. Meanwhile, the actual texture of the shoe seems to be much different from what we are used to on the Air Jordan 1.
If you are interested in copping this sustainable sneaker, you will be able to do so in August. As of right now, there is no official release date so stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you.
