There are still several months left to get through 2023, but Jordan Brand is already giving us a peek behind the curtain into what its retro plans for 2024 are going to entail thanks to Sneaker Files. The Air Jordan 1 Low will continue to be a prolific silhouette for the Beaverton-based sportswear brand, and its low-cut ‘85 model is slated to give its “Metallic Navy†colorway another release.
Early images have yet to surface, but you can get a sense of what the installment will look like based on the images of a throwback pair from its original ‘85 catalog in the gallery above. Uppers will come engineered with smooth white leather and complemented by small doses of navy that are sprinkled to the tongue’s Nike Air branding, the interior lining, the Swooshes and the heel overlays, the latter of which are both coasted with metallic finishes. In order to achieve an aged aesthetic, the kicks are expected to be fashioned with pre-yellowed midsoles that are stacked above full navy sole units.
Keep your eyes out for Jordan Brand retailers to launch these during the Spring 2024 season, and note that they are expected to retail for $170 USD.
In other news, official photos of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX “Coconut Milk†have popped up.
