This summer is heating up for Alanis Morissette, who is set to release her ninth album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road, on July 31. To top it off, the iconic singer-songwriter revealed that a deluxe version of her seminal Jagged Little Pill album will also drop this month.
The new edition, arriving on June 26, pairs the original 13-track album, produced by Glen Ballard, with a new acoustic live album from Morissette’s March 2020 performance at Shepherd’s Bush. The release comes following the album’s 25th anniversary on June 13.
In celebration, the singer unveiled the live version of “Ironic” today (June 18). Plus, official music videos for the album’s five landmark singles have also been remastered in 4K resolution. These revamped versions of “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket,” “You Learn” and “Head Over Feet” will debut over the next week on Alanis’ YouTube Channel, but fans can now watch the trailer here.
That’s not all. On June 28, fans can join a special screening of the Jagged Little Pill, Live documentary on the singer’s YouTube channel at 12:30 p.m. ET. The 1997 doc chronicles Morissette’s 1995-96 world tour, featuring on-stage performances of every song from the album.
