AMI-LA is releasing her latest project under the form of a new single titled “O-M-G,†featuring skilled artist I Project. AMI-LA, pronounced UH-ME LA, is known for her sophisticated sonic cocktail in which gospel, alternative, and contemporary music is subtly merged with a hint of soul. She identifies most with contemporary gospel music and the Kingdom calls it “Message Music.” Influenced by a wide range of artists including Yolanda Adams, Billie Holiday, Kirk Franklin, Mariah Carey and Monica, she takes her influences and imagines her own inspiring sonic aesthetics.
She shares: ​ “Music is life, all genres inspire me, but my purpose on earth is to use my voice for the Lord to provoke change.â€
With the latest track “O-M-G†under her belt, the sky’s the limit for this very promising artist whose clear ambition and hard work will help her reach higher dimensions in the very near future.
