Welcome to UKHHT!

Congratulations on your latest releases, we loved your vibe!

Thank you! I’m so glad that I could connect with you.

What inspires you to create?

Honestly, everything. I could be riding bikes with my daughter and make a silly jingle about what we see. I could be at home taking a shower and make up a shower song just to be funny. But if I feel a certain way about a certain topic, the song will just write itself. I like to go with the flow in general so I don’t see a limit on inspiration. My 6 and 1 year old daughters have had a big influence on my creativity as of late. Everything I do is for them.

What genre or subgenre best fits your sound?

?I would like to think that my base genre is hip hop. I like edm & cumbia alot so I try to throw that in the mix. My music is like a big mixture of genres from old school to new. Latin to urban American so I?m not sure what to call it just yet. If someone has a title for that genre I would love to hear your take on it!

Which artists inspire you?

I’ve always been a fan of all music. I like to listen to a little bit of everything so I have a long list but I’ll try to keep it as brief as possible. Here it goes:

Hip hop & R & B: Gangstarr, Wu-Tang, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Too Short, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Eminem, Kanye West, Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, Rihanna

Rock: Rolling Stones, Carlos Santana, The Doors, Jim’s Hendrix, SUBLIME, Dan Auerbach, Cage the Elephant, The Beatles

Latin Music: Selena and a variety of cumbia artists, Ramon Ayala, Chalino, Mana

Those are my core inspirers.?

What were the challenges you faced while recording music during the pandemic?

Honestly, the pandemic has been more inspiring than anything. I’m fortunate enough to have my recording studio in my garage, so when the health orders were put in place, I said to myself, SWEET! I said to my wife: ?babe, if I’m going to be stuck at home, I’m getting some turntables.? So I bought myself the latest Pioneer DDJ-SX3 with Serato and got to work. Some days I swear, I wouldn’t leave the garage!? So I guess my biggest challenge was trying to pull myself away from mixing and making beats.

Would you like to collaborate with other artists? If yes, who would be your top 5?

Absolutely! Top 5 in random order:

Dan Auerbach?

Kanye West

Dr. Dre

Alicia Keys

Bizzie or Krayzie Bone

Any upcoming plans you would like to share with us?

I’m working on a couple of music videos 1 for my song ?Never Enough? and 1 for a song my daughter and I made together called ?Mika Play Galaxy?. Also, once I get paid for my shares in AMC, I’ll be working on a plan to do a tour across the states to whatever city would like to have me, I?m even down to go overseas if y’all would like to have me. In the process of touring, make a video for ?Parabolic?. I’m 100% on board with the Ape Nation Movement. Wall St. has only begun to feel the power of the retail investors.?

Thank you very much for showing interest in my art. I do it for each and every earthling with a mind of their own. CHEERS!

?Thank You!
