Ariana Grande is a multi-tasking champion — especially when she's on tour and working on a live album at the same time.
The pop star — who's in the midst of her North American leg of the Sweetener World Tour and playing Jacksonville in her home state of Florida on Sunday (Dec. 1) — offered a quick update to fans eagerly awaiting the news of her next release. In a tweet she posted before her Jacksonville concert, Grande revealed that she's producing her own vocals on the forthcoming record and that the process is well underway.
"been prepping these vocals for the live album / listening to first pass mixes & am so excited," she wrote. "vocal producing everything myself, johnny’s been producing all the band parts!"

Those who follow Grande on social media know she's been up to something and working on the album, which pulls from the performances of her Sweetener World Tour. It's been exactly one year since she dropped the record-breaking music video for "Thank U, Next," a standout in her live set and one of her most successful singles to date.
Grande's Sweetener World Tour continues in Columbia, S.C. on Dec. 3 and wraps in Los Angeles on Dec. 21.
