During the interview, Ari revealed that she has a new song coming out with , with “Say So” featuring frequent Ariana collaborator, . Ari also gushed over her love for ‘s last album, 2016’s Anti, and looked back on the late , whom she dated for nearly two years from 2016-2018.

“Nothing mattered more to him than music ever,” Ari said about Mac. “He was the kind of person who woke up and rolled into the studio, like tumbled out of bed into the studio next door. Nothing was more important. Talk about losing track of time and forgetting to eat, remind yourself to take care of yourself and be a person.”
