On Monday (April 13), Arthur Hanlon put together his captivating piano ballads and instrumental Latin pop tunes for a Billboard Live At-Home concert to support Direct Relief.
“It’s an honor to be working with Billboard and Direct Relief. The point of the concert is to gather medical supplies for people who need it the most,” Hanlon told his fans.
The Detroit-born, Miami-based pianist, songwriter and arranger began the livestream performing Louis Amstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” and continued it with “En Mi Viejo San Juan” by Noel Estrada and John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
Hanlon also recognized the doctors, nurses and volunteers’ courage, dedicating Queen’s hit “We Are the Champions” to the frontline workers.
