After being introduced in various prints inspired by Japanese flowers including wisteria, cherry blossom, hydrangea, nemophila, and mustard earlier this year, ASICS now readies its GEL-LYTE V runners in opposing hues of “Seafoam†and “Bengal Orange†as part of a new “Ancient Coin†pack.
Originally launched in 1993, the GEL-LYTE V has become a mainstay on the Japanese footwear brand’s roster ever since. The upcoming pairs feature perforated leathers across the toe box and side panels with smooth suede overlays over top and across the heel molds. Decorating the cord laces are ancient coin dubraes. Branding details include the signature tiger stripes and ASICS embroidery, and rounding out the looks are foam midsoles partially speckled towards the heel and two-tone outsoles.

Elsewhere in footwear, White Mountaineering and Merrell connect for Wrapt Mid Waterproof sneakers.
