On Valentine’s eve, Bad Bunny and Sech dropped their first-ever collaboration dubbed “Ignorantes.” On the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Feb. 29, 2020, “Ignorantes” debuted Top 10 mostly on the strength of streaming activity.
With lyrics such as “I don’t know why we broke up/ If I love you and you love me,” the song is about a person who laments lost love, remembering the good times of his or her relationship but didn’t take it seriously.
The music video shows different couples, sending the message that regardless of race or sexual orientation, we are all capable of being ignorant — and sometimes are therefore forced to let go of the person we love.
Bad Bunny and Sech are finalists at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Bunny, alongside Ozuna, leads the pack as a 14-time finalist. Sech, on the other hand, is confirmed to participate at Billboard and Telemundo’s LatinFest+ as a panelist.
