Billboard won two awards for the American Society of Magazine Authors (ASME) Best Cover Contest 2020 + Awards for Photography and Illustration, which were announced Thursday (July 9).
According to ASME’s 2020 winners and finalists list, Billboard took home the titles of readers’ choice award for best entertainment and celebrity cover with the “Blackpink Meets the Red, White and Blue” cover from March 2, 2019, as well as best profile photograph from the St. Vincent feature story dated January 26, 2019 and titled “The Shape-Shifter.”
Readers chose Billboard‘s Blackpink 2019 cover over the rest of the magazine cover submissions on Facebook, according to ASME’s Twitter announcement today.
