Missing Coachella this week? Blackpink‘s got you covered! Nearly one year after making their debut in the desert, the girl group revisited their 2019 performance at the frestival by sharing an official video of their performance.
In the clip posted to the K-pop group’s official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 7), Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa open their set with their 2018 hit “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” complete with the track’s iconic, finger-waving choreography. “I may look sweet, but I don’t act like it/ My slender figure hides twice the volume/ I give it to them straight/ Don’t care what people think/ Black to the Pink we’re pretty and savage,” Jennie sing-raps in the song’s opening verse before tossing the next stanzas over to her bandmates.
Blackpink made history with their electric performance last summer, becoming the first K-pop girl group to ever perform at Coachella. While hip-hop group Epik High broke through as the first major Korean act to ever play the Indio, Calif.-based festival back in 2016, BIGBANG is slated to take the stage later this year as the first K-pop boy band to be included on the line-up.
Rescheduled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Coachella 2020 is currently scheduled for Oct. 9 – 18.
