After much teasing, Bombay Bicycle Club has finally returned with "Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)," their first single in five years, on Tuesday (Aug. 27).
It's safe to say that longtime fans of the British rockers will be pleased, as the guitar-driven track is rhythmic and filled with stunning melodies, in typical BBC fashion. Produced by John Congleton, explosive guitars carry the track while frontman Jack Steadman sings sweetly, "We'll cut through the park, stick to the path/ I can't stick to the path 'cause I dream about nothing but you."
The band began teasing the single back in January after their extended hiatus in 2016. They also announced they would be playing at Wilderness Festival as well as Brooklyn Steel in New York. The latter sold out so rapidly, they decided to build an entire fall tour around it. Beginning on Sept. 25, they will make their way to Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Boston and more.
Additionally, they'll be celebrating the ten year anniversary of their debut album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose with a handful of shows (which sold-out immediately) in the U.K. in Nov.
