Britney Spears took to social media on Monday (June 22) to show off her adorable day at the beach with boyfriend Sam Asghari.
“All you need is love and the beach….!!!!!” the pop icon captioned the trio of pictures, which feature the couple cuddled up on towels while wearing masks and strolling down the beach hand in hand.
Spears has also used her time in quarantine to release new music in the form of cult favorite track “Mood Ring.” Originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of her 2016 album Glory, the singer finally made the song available to U.S. fans on the LP’s 2020 re-packaging as “Mood Ring (By Demand).” Released on May 29, the long-awaited track’s unveiling caused fierce competition among pop circles with the release of Lady Gaga’s Chromatica the same day.
Two weeks prior, America’s pop princess also celebrated the 20-year anniversary of her smash sophomore album, Oops!…I Did It Again with a commemorative throwback video on her social media channels.
Coincidentally, Spears also met her longtime boyfriend during the Glory album cycle, when he served as her love interest in the music video for her 2016 Tinashe-assisted single “Slumber Party.” The singer and the Iranian-American model have been romantically linked ever since the video shoot.
