Jungkook has fans swooning thanks to an unexpected cover of Lauv‘s “Never Not.”
In a video posted on Twitter, the BTS member — sitting on a bed — sweetly sang the ballad, the closing track of Lauv’s I met you when I was 18. (the playlist) project.
Jungkook left a simple caption — “Never Not,” along with a purple heart emoji — on the clip, which ended abruptly with him turning the camera off about a minute-and-a-half into the song. At press time, his video amassed more than six million views in just a couple hours and had his name trending on Twitter.
BTS and Lauv have joined forces previously on the K-pop stars’ “Make It Right” as well as “Who,” off of Lauv’s new album How I’m Feeling.
“I went into this album expecting no features and then they just all happened in a very natural way. I just met BTS at their show and they asked me to do the remix for their song and I was like, ‘Duh.’ Then I was like, ‘Oh maybe they’ll like one of the songs from my album.’ So I sent them ‘Who,’ the demo, and they loved it,” he recently said of their collaborations.
