Buju Banton and Snoop Dogg have joined forces their collaborative single, “High Life.â€
The first joint effort between the two artists, the track is billed as one with a “message of being above the clouds yet firmly grounded†and serves as a prelude for Banton’s highly-anticipated 14 studio album. It will mark the followup to 2020’s Upside Down 2020, which gave Banton a GRAMMY nomination for Best Reggae Album.
Meanwhile, Snoop’s last studio album dates back to February 2022’s Back on Death Row (BODR), which was released on Death Row Records after a 26-year gap and featured Nas, T.I., Sleepy Brown, Nate Dogg, The Game, DaBaby, Uncle Murda, Wiz Khalifa and Lil Duval plus production from Battlecat, Bink, DJ Green Lantern, Hit-Boy and more.
